Are you a driven Systems Engineer with a passion for advanced technology and a desire to shape the future battlefield? Saab Dynamics is looking for key individuals to join our teams developing the next generation of Ground Combat systems.

Your Role

As a systems engineer at Saab Dynamics Ground Combat, you will work on the development of advanced anti-tank systems and systems for combating other ground-based threats.

A large part of the work involves understanding the capabilities the customer is requesting as well as the wishes of other stakeholders regarding the system. The needs are transformed into a technical view that shows how the requested capability can be met. The work includes developing system architecture, measurable requirements, integration plans, verification, and validation. We follow and adapt our technical work according to our business system, plan, and conduct technical reviews. We work with system issues at a higher level, which may involve travel and collaboration with the Swedish Armed Forces and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, foreign customers, and partners.

Your Profile

We are looking for a driven systems engineer who thrives in a dynamic environment where we constantly strive to improve our working methods and deliver innovative solutions at a fast pace. We seek someone with several years of experience in the technical development of complex systems with a broad interest and understanding of how mechanics, electronics, and software integrate and interact.

We believe you have a Master's degree or equivalent. You have a knack for working in a structured manner and taking initiative, good self-leadership, and information-seeking skills. It is important that you have a sense of the big picture and have been around long enough to have a good feel for when it is time to take the next step in development.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, there may be requirements for certain citizenship.
